This is a very peaceful image of a small wooden boat dock with several boats on a lake in Glacier National Park. Beyond the lake is a small range of snow-covered mountains under a blue and white sky. There is a small building next to a tree in the right foreground. This was taken in Montana in May of 2012.

A frustrated want-to-be painter, Linda turned to photography as the medium to capture the colors and images she loves. Linda has over 25 years of shooting pictures with an eye for only what pleased her. In the early 2000's she finally started getting educated in the technical aspects of photography by taking photography classes at the local community college. Some of her newest photos of fireworks show some deliberate motion of the camera, just to get a more artistic effect. When asked, "What do you shoot?" Linda replies, "Whatever appeals to me, dead trees, architectural details, and color! I love brilliant colors! I once bought a dress just because I loved the color."
